  • Is Frank Fritz still alive and well?

Frank Fritz is still alive and well. After suffering a stroke at his home in Iowa, Frank Fritz, the star of the television show American Pickers, was discovered on the floor by a friend in July 2022. Fans have been following Frank's current position, even if he has made improvement since then. Mike Wolfe, Frank's former co-star, stated on social media

Numerous adjustments were made in Frank Fritz's life.

In July 2021, Frank Fritz at last broke his silence and explained why he had left the reality television program that had made him famous. According to Fritz, who said this in an interview with The Sun, he stopped participating in the new episodes of "American Pickers" rather than leaving the show. On the surface, these two things appear to be similar, but Fritz can reveal their subtle differences. He said, "It's up to the network if I come back on the show. "I watched the performance. I had some minor back surgery after I finished shooting, and the epidemic soon followed.

Those remarks make reference to Fritz's difficult health status. He required time to recover from back surgery, thus he was unable to film "American Pickers" in 2020–2021. He has Crohn's disease, a severe and persistent inflammatory condition that affects the digestive system. He recently reduced his weight by about 65 pounds, which he credited to increasing his exercise routine and giving up alcohol. He said, "I haven't had a drink in almost nine, ten months."

Frank Fritz, Mike Wolfe and he had both professional and interpersonal acrimony.

According to Frank Fritz, who claims to have known Mike Wolfe for more than 40 years, their dispute began "quite quietly" until the "American Pickers" dispute gained notoriety in 2021. Fritz acknowledged, "I haven't spoken to Mike in two years," and said it really hurt that he didn't even answer a call from his longtime friend and former co-star from ten years ago, either before or after his back surgery. He knew how bad my back was, but he didn't call to see how I was doing. It is simply what it is.

Fritz's dislike for Wolfe in particular seemed to have gotten worse as a result of the way "American Pickers" was produced and presented. The broadcast, according to Fritz, "is completely skewed in his favor."

Frank Fritz underwent alcoholism treatment, and he is now prepared to rejoin American Pickers.

In addition to his prolonged recovery from back surgery, which required 185 stitches and necessitated placing two rods into his spine, Frank Fritz spent the most of his time away from "American Pickers" coping with another difficult medical and personal problem. In a 2021 interview with The Sun, Fritz admitted that he checked into the Abbey Center, a different rehab facility in Bettendorf, Iowa. He made an effort to stop drinking for 77 days. I stopped finding drinking enjoyable. Five years ago, my mother, who was an alcoholic, died from alcohol-related causes," Fritz continued. "My grandfather's drinking led to his death.
