Billy died on February 7, 2021, at the age of 68, after being born on December 3, 1952. Billy was well-known for his excellent leadership and survival abilities, as well as his passion for the Alaskan environment. Later Billy married Ami Brown. Ami Brown was only 15 years old and Billy was 26. They had seven children together: Matt, Bam Bam, Bear, Gabe, Noah, Snowbird, and Rain.   

  • Ami Brown  

Amora Larene Branson Brown, sometimes known as Ami Brown, was born in Texas, America, on August 28, 1963. Ami was raised in a traditional Christian household. Ami was reared in Texas in a conservative Baptist home. Due to her father's job, she had a tough upbringing when her family moved around a lot. Ami's parents separated when she was a little child, and she grew up in a difficult socioeconomic situation. Ami was only 15 years old when she first met Billy Brown, the man who would become her husband. They fell in love right away and married in 1979. They started living a nomadic lifestyle, traversing the country and settling in various areas including Texas, Colorado, and Alaska.

Together, they had seven kids: Rain, Bam Bam (Joshua), Bear (Solomon), Gabe, Noah, and Snowbird (Bird). The family subsisted off the land by hunting, fishing, and gathering supplies. He repeatedly sought out therapy and rehab to get over his addiction.

Gabe grew raised in Alaska outdoors with his siblings as part of the Brown family's unique way of life. He was nurtured in a natural environment and learned crucial survival skills from his parents. Gabe grew up with a love of the outdoors and a strong feeling of self-reliance.
