Dog the Bounty Hunter, Duane Chapman, is a well-known personality in the realm of reality television. Barbara Katie Chapman died tragically on May 19, 2006, at the age of 23. She was driving her own automobile when she was involved in a car accident in Fairbanks, Alaska. The accident killed her, and her sudden demise devastated the Chapman family and viewers of the program.
