Carrie has lost weight throughout the years following her event, albeit it has taken her longer than some other My 600-lb Life patients. Carrie started out at over 600 pounds, and after the first few months of dieting and activity, she was 442 pounds, making her a candidate for weight loss surgery. Carrie continued to lose weight after her operation with success, remembering that getting healthy takes time and effort. The couple was able to motivate each other and thin down thanks to Chris participating in her weight loss program, however they still focus on improving their health. 

About her relationship 

Chris Johnson, Carrie's husband, will go down in television history as one of the greatest husbands. In the mornings, he assisted Carrie with washing and even prepared meals for her. 

The two of them tried to get pregnant, but Carrie lost the baby and later had to have her ovaries removed since a tumor was discovered.
