Who is Ontreon Shannon?

Ontreon Shannon became well-known after taking part in the TLC reality series My 600-lb Life. He describes himself as being 36 years old (even though he is actually 37) and a resident of Plano, Texas (although he has since moved to McKinney, Texas).  The focus of episode 11 was Ontreon Shannon's effort to get in shape.  When he made his TV debut on My 600-lb Life season 10, Ontreon weighed 702 pounds. Early life of Ontreon 

With an absent father and a stressed-out mother, Ontreon had an unusual upbringing while living with his grandparents. Shannon's grandmother was more than eager to feed him a lot as he was growing up to comfort him. Unfortunately, he gained weight throughout the years by using food as a way to cope with his grief. Like other people on the show, his introduction is really heartfelt. Shannon discusses his battle with weight and reveals that he needs to take many drugs just to survive. Ontreon additionally has diabetes and congestive heart failure.

He started out on the show weighing just over 700 pounds. Ontreon Shannon, according to Dr. Now, is hoping that someone else will take care of his weight issue. The TLC doctor thinks Ontreon doesn't take his predicament seriously. And he wonders if, in his current state, he will even survive another four to six months.

Dr. Now acknowledges Ontreon There is one thing going for Shannon. His wife is wonderfully supportive and in no way enabling. He acknowledges, however, that his wife's support is insufficient for his newest patient.

His wife Musa admits to the cameras that her husband has never been able to stick to a diet before. She doesn't understand why this will be any different, either.  Ontreon appears to be getting healthier every day, which suggests that he has finally made a positive change for the best in his life.

Shannon had a social media account that was active a few years ago, but he doesn't seem to be using it much these days.
