  • About the show My 600-Ib life

My 600-lb Life is an American reality television program that has been broadcast on the TLC network since 2012. The attempts of severely obese persons to decrease weight to a healthy level over the period of a year are detailed in each episode. These individuals normally weigh at least 600 pounds (270 kg) at the beginning of the episode. In "Where Are They Now?" After the very first episodes have broadcast, update episodes continue up to a year or more later. Patients are under the care of Houston physician Younan Nowzaradan (often known as "Dr. Now"), who suggests various weight-loss methods before perhaps recommending a gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy based on the patients' progress.

Early life of Kenae

She had always associated happiness with food, which was heightened by the fact that her mother always provided it, whether the circumstances were favorable or not. And no one who witnessed her growing weight to well over 200 pounds at the age of 14 discouraged her from continuing. Even after graduating from high school, Kenae managed to work in a nursing home despite her weight. She never let it stop her from living life to the fullest. As a result, she became more independent and more dependent on food once she was able to afford to eat out frequently. She continued to eat poorly, slowly gaining more than 400 pounds yet managing to move around without feeling self-conscious about it.

What happened to Kenae in the show?

Kenae's My 600-Lb Life episode revealed that she was unable to get weight-loss surgery due to medical complications, and it appears that she didn't have the easiest time after her appearance either.

The day after her TLC program aired, Kenae posted on Facebook that she had received some internet haters and felt vulnerable after having her life in the spotlight for the reality TV show. She said, however, that numerous viewers of her program had given her words of support and encouragement.

Her Experience Losing Weight

Kenae reached 615 pounds at the time of her first appearance on the program. She had put on excessive baggage that she was unable to perform simple tasks by herself. When she required assistance, her nieces cared for her. She disliked having to rely on others in order to survive. Her mother's passing and the serious reproductive challenges she had to contend with were the genuine causes of her weight increase. She was able to shed 133 pounds with the assistance of Dr. Now despite all of the difficulties she faced on the show. She was quite eager to have weight loss surgery after she lost weight. Due to medical issues, she wasn’t able to have the surgery done and this just added to her stress.

Kenae relationship

She resided in Nacogdoches, Texas, with her pastor husband Rodney, some of her nieces and nephews, and other members of her extended family. Kenae struggled to move about on her own and was primarily reliant on her nieces and nephews for all of her basic needs.

When Kenae eventually wed Rodney and decided she intended to have her own kids, that's when her problems started. She discovered she had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and experienced fertility problems when attempting to get pregnant. At her adulthood of 35, she experienced yet another severe setback.  Even sharing her real measurement with her spouse made Kenae feel ashamed, and she felt she needed to seek professional assistance.

What Kenae is doing now?

Kenae was unaffected by her surgical application being denied. She was content with the route she had taken and the choices she had made. It was depicted in the episode that she paid her mother's cemetery a visit for the initial one occasion in six years following her passing. It was also evident that Kenae's mental state had much improved and that the psychotherapy sessions had been extremely beneficial for her.

Along with a 1200 protein diet along with additional lifestyle adjustments, this assisted Kenae in continuing to lose the last few pounds. I'm therefore making a lot of effort to keep moving in the right way. I've been lucky to see a psychotherapist in my area, and I'm concentrating on my diet and exercises every day.

However, if you're hoping to get a recent update on her and how much weight she's dropped since filming the episode, you'll be let down because her profile doesn't have any. She keeps a rigorous diet and experiments with various exercises, which she frequently posts on social media. She made an effort to stick to a regular fitness plan while participating in water aerobics and then performing extensive workouts at home.
