Peaky Blinders, a British medieval crime drama television series, was created by Steven Knight. It is set in Birmingham and centers on the crimes committed by the Peaky Blinders gang in the immediate years following World War One. The fictional group is based on an actual young people's gang of the same name that existed in the city from the 1880s to the 1910s.He is accused by Winston Churchill (Andy Nyman in series 1 and Richard McCabe in series 2) of quelling unrest and an uprising in Birmingham as well as discovering a stolen stockpile of weapons intended for shipment to Libya. The first season ends on December 3rd, often known as 'Black Star Day', when the Peaky Blinders intend to take over Billy Kimber's betting stalls.   

The Peaky Blinders are seen expanding their criminal enterprise in the "South and North while preserving a stronghold in their Birmingham heartland" in the second season. It starts in 1921 and culminates on Derby Day, May 31, 1922, at Epsom Racecourse.  

The third season of the show, which is set in 1924, follows Tommy and the group as they once again expand, this time internationally, and enter an even more perilous environment. The fourth season starts on Christmas Eve 1925 with the Peaky Blinders learning that the New York Mafia, led by Luca Changretta (Adrien Brody), is coming to exact revenge for the murder of his father that had been committed the season before. It ends in May 1926, with Tommy using Jessie Eden for information and becoming a Member of Parliament in 1927.  

The fifth season goes from (Black Tuesday), October 29, 1929, to December 7, 1929, the morning following a rally conducted by British Union of Fascists leader Sir Oswald Mosley. It takes place two years later.  

On December 5, 1933, the United States repealed prohibition, marking the start of the sixth season. Due to the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany, the British Union of Fascists has seen an increase in membership. Tommy has to contend with plans from the Irish Mob and the Anti-Treaty IRA in addition to Mosley.
