Robert and Kathryn Lemanski were engaged since February 2012. They have been friends since they were teenagers. Even though she was simply Buchel's fiancée, Kathryn made no less of an effort. She looked after him when they both resided in New Jersey. 2018 was the year they intended to wed and before that on November 15, 2017, Buchel sadly died from a heart attack. Kathryn experienced anxiety issues following his death. She changed her relationship status on June 3, 2019, and it appears that she has moved on.

When he died, Kathryn published this post on her Facebook page, which states:

On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, the love of my life, my best friend, my closest confidant Robert Buchel passed away suddenly. I wish I could say that my heart was broken or even shattered, but in reality, it is just gone. My heart died along with him.

Robert’s death 

Robert Buchel suffered a painkiller addiction following the procedure. His sadness was brought on by the circumstances. He refused to engage in simple exercises like walking and chose to spend most of his time in bed instead of exercising regularly. Robert passed away from a heart attack in Houston on November 15, 2017, while he was 41 years old and working on the My 600-lb Life television show.
