Dr. Elizabeth Grammer was married to her long-time boyfriend Robert Jason Grammar. Unfortunately, Robert suffered a tragic accident on Christmas Eve (December 24) of 2016 that resulted in his demise. Elizabeth and her husband, like any other family, were in the Christmas spirit, and Robert had been drinking vodka and booze all day. Elizabeth delivered Grammer a note after a particularly heated exchange between the two. Butorphanol, a Schedule IV drug, in a volume of 5 ml. He became instantly unresponsive once Robert injected into his vein. Later, Elizabeth admitted that she should not have given him the prescription and expressed sorrow for her actions. Mr. Grammer was brought to Monroe County Hospital after paramedics were unable to resuscitate him. At Macon Medical Center, he was subsequently moved and placed on life support after showing no signs of recovery. On December 30, 2016, Robert was taken off life support and died at the age of 48.

After the death of her husband, she couldn’t able to believe it. So on December 28, 2016, she was found unconscious at her home. She was found on a couch by deputy sheriff Cynthia Patten, who also discovered the IV bag hanging from the ceiling and an IV in her arm. For immediate medical attention, Elizabeth was transferred to Monroe County Hospital. Following the revival, Elizabeth spent some time in a mental health facility in Macon, Georgia.
