George Young was born on March 9, 1972. He is 51 years old as of 2023. George is originally from Great Falls, Montana. Additionally, he has resided in his hometown since 2023. Although very little is know about his personal life but what we know is his family consists of his mother Darlene, his brothers Dave, Tom, and Scott, as well as his sisters Kate Bahr, Patty, Julie, and Lynda. Scott Gerard Young, his brother, sadly passed away on July 4, 2012, at the age of 52. In addition to being the proprietor of R & H Mechanical, Scott was also the father of Brianne and Kaitlyn.

His educational background includes a 1989 Great Falls High School diploma and a 2010 Bachelor of Business and Engineering degree from Montana State University-Northern. Plate tectonics is a process that raises materials from the mantle and dumps them in the oceans. The Bering Sea is also home to a lot of other valuable minerals, such as copper, zinc, and lead.  

George learnt about a new way of gold extraction via a reality television series called Bering Sea Gold, which follows boats outfitted with various setups to mine gold in a midsummer, frigid northern latitude, shallow water, ocean environment. He was captivated by the act and chose to join the crew of one of the dredges, the Eroica, which was owned and led by Emily Riedel, a former opera singer and Nome, Alaska's sole female dredge owner.

George became a diver on the Eroica, a position that required him to wear cold-water-diving life support equipment and work for hours underwater, collecting paydirt from the ocean floor. He had to deal with stormy seas, limited underwater vision, uneven fuel supplies, equipment breakdowns, and competitor miners. He also had to cope with the difficult weather conditions, particularly during the winter, when Nome was hit by the biggest storm in a century.  

Despite his difficulties, George never gave up on his ambition. He worked hard, made errors, and developed his talents. He also got friends with Emily, who later became his mentor and partner.
